Benefits of learning Drama
Our Hasti school motivates , *encourages and inspires children for presenting a stage play* Drama and or skit* regularly because school believes that it benefits children in many way for instance , enhances memory , team work and expression. During annual concert , during the celebration of National festivals , events and scout and school rallies the corner skit is played .
Difficult concept of different subjects are taught through small and effective skits in their class rooms
Recently our Hasti Public school participated in state level Drama competition (राज्य स्तरीय बाल नाट्य स्पर्धा ) and made a record by winning three first prizes in different categories in its maiden attempt
1. Best Make up Mr.Manohar Yadav
2.Best light effects Mr.Pravin Gurav
3.best off stage (नेपथ्य) Mr.Vikas Batunge.
Had there been more than two prizes for skit , our school would have definitely have won a prize for the Drama (निर्बुद्ध राजा ची नगरी ) Directed by Mr. Manoj Thakur sir
Our school holds a record in the vicinity of presenting on stage the Mega Drama*(महानाट्य )* “शिव राज्य अभिषेक“ & रामायण ( राम राज्याभोषेक ) with the participation of more than 200 students .
Drama and skits for kids are already part of children’s lives even before they start their school in the form of fictional plays at home such as doctors, nurses, pilots, engineers, dentists and more. This allows them to create their own identity by creating situations that have many similarities in the real world.
Globally, schools are recognizing that one of the best ways to *encourage and promote soft skills and emotional intelligence in children is through drama. These are the skills that the traditional educational system cannot provide.
Learning skits for kids has many benefits—
it improves communication skills and helps to learn teamwork, dialogue, negotiations, and socialization. It also stimulates the imagination and creativity of the students. The other benefit of learning theatrics is that it allows children to learn better morals and to speak up for what’s right.
There are several benefits that students can see from skits for kids in their schools.

The first benefit that students get from drama or theatrics is they learn to speak, communicate, and present better. Look at all the actors around and you’ll find that they are some of the well dressed, well presented, soft-spoken, and well-read people and this is what drama does to your child too..

Drama and skits for kids teach children to deal with life’s problems. These activities give children the chance to rehearse roles and characters and enact many real-life situations. This, in many ways, help them to make a sense of happenings in their real life at a later stage.

When children play roles in dramas, they are enacting in front of several people, so even the shyest of the student will learn to keep their inhibitions away and face the world and people confidently.

Drama and theatrics are all about creativity and creative people have the knack of viewing problems and opportunities from a different angle..

Skits for kids are all about the right timing and concentration. When children are actively involved in theatrics, they need to focus on several things—timings and concentration included.

Ideas for skits for kids:
1. Mad Libs
-Ask the audience to provide certain keywords for your skit (three adjectives, three nouns, etc.)
-Have kids fill in blanks with their provided words to create a story.
