At our Hasti public school and jr.college , Dondaicha this *international movement is introduced at grass root level that is   Bunny tumtola at pre-primary  to Rangers and rovers at jr.college level via Cubs and bulbul at primary level and scouts and guides at high school . Our HASTI SCHOOL IS the only school in entire district with  100 % enrolment that is entire student strength is enrolled with the  National movement the *Bharat scout and guide organisation* . School is well equipped  and self-reliantI in terms of the tents for camps ,accommodation,  ground & kitchen facilities. School has organised district level camps , rajya puraskar  and chaturth charaan training camps . school has  a long list of  Rajyapal puraskar winners , Golden arrows , Mayur pankh awardees as well. our HASTI SCHOOL is having band of qualified scout and guide teachers, leaders ,trainers and *HWB qualified staff.

The Scouting and Guiding mission is to contribute to the kids education, through a value system. This is based on a Scout Promise and LawI, to help build a better world such that people are self-sustained as individuals and they play a key role in building a constructive society.

Scouts, A voluntarily educational movement for people, mostly teenagers and is open to all without discrimination of gender, caste, race or any religion. The whole idea behind the Scouts, is to contribute to the development of youngsters in gaining their full physical, mental, emotional, social and intellectual as individual human beings, as responsible Indians and as members of their local, national and international communities. The three major Scouts groups for boys that is, Club Scouts, Boy Scouts and Rover scouts in 1910 ad there were Three scouts for girls,  Brownie Guides, Girl Guides and Ranger Guides. Scouts is is known as one of the major youth organizations of the world. Scouts team was formed in the 20th Century. Scouting’s Principles describe a simple code of living to which all Scouts and Guides make a personal commitment throughout the Scouts Promise and Law.

The Scouts emblem incorporates a wheel with twenty-four spokes, known as the Ashoka Chakra, taken from the Ashoka pillar at Sarnath, in the green-and-saffron colors of the flag of India.

Meaning of Guides 

A guide is someone who leads humans towards their goals. Travelers or Tourists are a good example of needing guides to reach out to their locations. The Importance of Guides   school is selected on merit alone and no one can buy their way into the GSG’s good books*. In Jabalpur the first Girl Guides company was found in the year 1911 at Christ Church School.

 Through recreation, Scouting helps to achieves its purpose of developing young people physically, intellectually, socially, and spiritually.

Scouts Build a sense of Confidence, self-esteem, learning life skills, leadership skills, team work, adventures, education, communication skill.

Scouts are being taught various skills to improve their lifestyle. Scouts perform various tasks to build these skills and make themselves stronger.

Scouts associations and branches are more than in 216 countries and territories. Scouting has never stopped growing since it is founded in 1907. Today there are more than 25 million Scouts Students associated. Since 90 years, Over 300 million Scouts have been members, when Scouting was founded. Scouts has spread all over India, and this has been only possible because of the schools and colleges taking initiative to motivate

To be a Scouts, one wont be differentiated on the basis of caste, religion, creed, race or gender. It just requires one’s consent and voluntarily adheres to the Principles of Scouting. Scouts wont have to face any difficulty while getting into it. Scouts are given same respect and treatment in the camp. Scouts take oath as one and become one.

Scouts have three dimensions

Scouts as a Spiritual Dimension –  Scouts take a promise or a commitment made to see the spiritual part of everything in day to day life.

Scouts as a Social Dimension – Scouts are being a part of the development procedure of the society, and respecting other and bringing integrity to the world.

Scouts as a Personal Dimension – Scouts have a sense of personal responsibility.

Scouts and Guides Law 

1. Scouts/Guides must be trustworthy

2. Scouts/Guides must treat everyone as their friend and must treat other Scouts/guides as their Brother/sister

3. Scouts/guides should always be courteous.

4. Scouts/Guides should be friend to all animals and a nature lover.

5. Scouts/Guides must be disciplined and must help to protect public properties and other human beings.

6. Scouts/Guides must be thrifty.

7. Scouts/Guides should be pure in their thought, word and deed.

8. Scouts/Guides are always loyal

9. Scouts/Guides are very courageous.

The Bharat Scouts and Guide Flag 

The flag of Scouts and Guides is dark blue color flag, with yellow color emblem in the centre and Askhok Chakra in blue color.

The flag Of Scouts and Guides emphasizes the all -India character of movement. Guide wing of Scouts and Guides is represented by Bharat Scouts and Guides. For the scouts, the flag is their pride. When the scouts wear their flags on their uniform they feel connected to the nation.

 There are various awards students can win by clearing examinations

GOLDEN ARROW FOR CUBS AND BULBULSA Chaturth Charan Cub/ Heerak Pankh Bulbul having earned totally six proficiency badges, one badge each in Tritiya Charan/Swarna Pankh and Chaturth Charan/ Heerak Pankh, remaining four badges to be earned from the proficiency badge groups not earned earlier. He/she may be awarded a special badge called “Golden Arrow” before completing ten years of age. The Badge will be on blue background with golden border with a prominent golden arrow with Bharat Scout and Guides Emblem in the center.

The Golden Arrow Badge shall be worn on the center of the left sleeve. Golden Arrow badge is presented by the President of Bharat Scouts and Guides along with the certificate signed by the Chief National Commissioner. The Chief National Commissioner is the final authority to grant golden arrow badge and certificate on recommendation from the State Chief Commissioner. Know more…

RAJYA PURASKAR FOR SCOUTS AND GUIDES

Rajya Puraskar Badge consists of the emblem of the Bharat Scouts & Guides at the bottom, the Ashoka Chakra at the top, and word ‘SEVA’ in Devanagari script in the center surrounded by a laurel.

Scouts / Guides who have already earned the qualifying Badges will have to attend a Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp organized by the State Association under the supervision of the State Organizing Commissioner(S) where the knowledge and skills of the Scout will be retested after being qualified in the State testing Camp, the Scout / Guides will be eligible for the award of Rajya Puraskar Badge and Certificate.

This award is presented by the Governor or Patron/President of the State Association on the recommendation of State Chief Commissioner and can be withdrawn under compelling circumstances by State Chief Commissioner.

PRESIDENT/RASHTRAPATI SCOUT/GUIDE/ROVER/RANGER CERTIFICATE

The President of the Indian Union has been graciously pleased to issue a special certificate to eligible Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger who qualifies the President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger Certificate Examination after serving as a Rajya Puraskar Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger for at least twelve months (one year).
