STUDENT LEDERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Education can no longer be about only academics and test scores. We at Hasti public school do realize and  remember the importance of education for the whole child. We are committed to give our children the critical leadership skills they need to thrive in a fast-changing and challenging world.

Student leadership means students to take active roles in their education and develop positive skills in the process. The goal of inspiring student leaders is to create a culture of ownership, collaboration and community in the classroom. Student leadership development helps create skills that the students can carry over to adulthood. One of the main goals of student leadership is team building. Of course, there are classes, groups, and friends. Beside leadership skill , student leaders require to master other important skills which are as under

At The Hasti Public school & Jr.college ‘Student leadership Development Program’ provides aspiring Student Leaders with a supportive learning environment that develops leadership skills through character based learning opportunities. We help kids develop into leaders at school and do

•           Teach and model leadership skills such as Empathic Listening, problem-solving, working in teams, resolving conflicts, and appreciating people’s differences.

•           Help them take more ownership for learning and behavior choices by setting and tracking their own goals.

•           Let them serve or mentor other students.

•           Give them specific responsibilities to make a difference in the classroom. Think in terms of leadership roles that allow them to help others, make a contribution, and feel a sense of purpose.

Hasti Public school believes that “Every child can be a leader ”. What is needed is to only unlock the leadership potential in your students?

Students are challenged on all levels and are required to work cooperatively to achieve set goals, respect themselves and others, inspire and motivate their peers and promote a culture of school pride and belonging. Students are offered various opportunities to participate in a position of leadership within the school, from Year 7 through to Year 12.

•           SEL (Social emotional learning  is a methodology that helps students of all ages to better comprehend their emotions, to feel those emotions fully, and demonstrate empathy for others.

•           Boys and Girls Leadership

It is not enough for a student to decide that they want to be a leader. The making of a good leader is not something that is inherited. Students have to work compulsively on their leadership skills.

Here at Hasti school what we do is to boost a student’s ability to work as part of a team. We convince children that It is great to be a creative and full of initiative. But what is more important is to be able to see the strengths and weaknesses of each team member & Moreover, it is important to make the strengths work for the whole team.

Teacher here at Hasti public school works to cultivate student leadership in the  classroom and among fellow teachers. In the classroom, teachers foster student leadership qualities through a process called Project-Based Learning or PBL.  Project-Based Learning is a teaching process in which students learn through hands-on work on a project that addresses a complex question or challenge over a period of time.

PBL and other student-led initiatives shape minds in unique ways Project-Based Learning and student leadership building, when done well, add meaning and relevance. They start students on a path to success and give them opportunities for leadership while in school, so they can speak the language of negotiation cooperation, esprit-de-corps and teamwork.

Teachers here work  hard to motivate students to lead in their classrooms. How that looks can vary by class type and age, but the end goal is inspiring confident individuals ready to take on challenges using real-world skills.

Teachers, are  sensitive to the inclusion of everyone in class conversations. Other times, teachers  include a back-channel chat so students can participate via message as well as verbally. There are many meaningful ways to encourage conversation, but the best ways are not gimmicks are tricks. It is simply using a student’s name and asking him or her to join the conversation.

Student leadership qualities look different student-to-student. It’s important that all students, regardless of personality traits or learning types, get the opportunity to grow their leadership qualities in their learning environment. Everyone has influence. Each person can lead in their own way. In many schools, most leadership positions are by election or appointment. Students who aren’t interested in clubs or extracurricular activities.in contrast to this we at Hasti school call resume from all students the Bio data or resume is studied and the *eligible and willing students are interviewed by way of PI and GD by the committee of experts from outside the school  Teamwork is an essential part of real-world success. Therefore, it is a  part of a real-world classroom environment. We explore each student’s leadership ability and help them  to improve and develop it.*We at our school insist and make children learn  to

At Our HAST School we insist upon to make them  Follow their  passions; explore what they  love; capitalize on what they can already do well. We did  run  student Parliament . We  organize different Co-scholastic  activities like elocution , brain storming & STORM  *Service to Others really Matters.

Good managers have strong interpersonal skills . We develop  their ability to  listen to other people, ask questions, establish trust*and create a *sense of teamwork.

Be optimistic

at our Hasti School  we train them to  Maintain focus and a positive attitude, especially in the face of difficulty. Grace under pressure is a key leadership trait. We tell them that If your team has just lost a crucial game, don’t throw in the towel; encourage your teammates to practice even harder for the next one.

At our Hasti school we make them understand that Actions are more important than titles.

Even if you aren’t the captain of the team, you could be its leading scorer.
