A farmer had a dog who used to sit by the roadside waiting for vehicles to come around.
As soon as one came he would run down the road, barking and trying to overtake it.
One day a neighbor asked the farmer “Do you think your dog is ever going to catch a car?” The farmer replied, “That is not what bothers me. But What bothers me is what he would do if he ever caught one.”
Moral of the Story
“Many people in life behave like that dog who is pursuing meaningless goals .”

This is how we can learn , we can learn lot many things from what is present around us ; nature including soil, water, sun , plants , animals and believe me one can learn from loving pets like cow , parrot ,etc and even from loving puppy dog
Ask children to choose any object and ask them to write what they think could learned from the object.
It would be great experience for children and they will learn many things.
For example If I write what I should learn from Dog or
I would learn from a Dog that
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face,to be pure ecstasy
When it’s in your best interest, practice obedience
Let others know when they’ve invaded your territory
Take naps and stretch before rising
Run romp and play daily
On warm days stop to lie on your back on the grass
On hot days drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree
When you’re happy dance around and wag your entire body
No matter how often you’re scolded, don’t buy into the guilt thing and pout, run right back and make friends*
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm
Stop when you have had enough
Be loyal
Never pretend to be something you’re not
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it
When someone is having a bad day, be silent…sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
It would be unique technique to make children that every thing around us is teaching us some good and positive points
